CHAOS RECORDS is proud to announce the CD release of IV: Silencing of the Prophets of Deceit, the devastating new full-length from German death-black metal trio GOATH. Scheduled for release on June 6th, 2025, this edition is licensed from Ván Records and will be available exclusively for the Americas.

Forged in 2015 in Nuremberg, GOATH took shape with a sound rooted in the ferocity of classic black and death metal—citing influence from the likes of Deicide, Morbid Angel, Mayhem, and Blasphemy. Their 2016 demo and first album Luciferian Goath Ritual (2017) made immediate impact in the underground. The band followed with II: Opposition (2018) and III: Shaped by the Unlight—albums that combined aggression with an increasingly ritualistic and progressive edge.

Known for their savage live shows, GOATH have taken their sound across Europe and South America, performing at major festivals like Party-San Open Air, In Flammen, and alongside acts such as Panzerfaust. In 2023, they completed an extensive South American tour, preparing the ground for their next evolution.

Now, the band returns with IV: Silencing of the Prophets of Deceit—an uncompromising slab of blackened death metal forged in fire and sharpened in blood.
