THE HANGED MAN is a reflection as well as a composite of old and new, cardinal opposites, and nearly all sonic information absorbed. Singularly created in-house, birthed from four hundred years of mire, and fifty years of filth. Magma gives way to brackish water, nuclear assault is handed to cavern calls; prayers towards the Temple of Ostyx are introduced, Ordo from out of chaos, and Gateways reopened. Scents of Free Jazz, Giallo soundtracks, deep dub, and Death Rock linger.
Thematically, THE HANGED MAN follows on a the Sigil of Disgust (I), the Sigil of Will (II), and the Sigil of Anvils (III), reflecting on the great work and it’s outputs. Where once there was decay, there is then visualization, work, and eventually a new reality.
