Thy Desolation (Feat. Steve Wiener)
Fathomless, Steve Wiener
Duplicity Is in their nature Superiority Taught as a virtue Subjugation Their only goal The oppressors Have no remorse No compassion No mercy Deep underground Things forgotten Reawakening Deep underground Things forgotten Live again An ancient evil Thought defeated Rises once again Under the guise of a savior Death cult extremists Vie for power Dogma held high Twisted for their purpose The oppressors Wield their faith As a cudgel Smashing all Resistance Disobedience Non-compliance Resistance Growing stronger Ever stronger For unity Drive from this land Those who seek power At any cost Show them no mercy Eye for an eye Collaborators Will join them on the block The oppressors Will be destroyed No compassion No mercy

Honor and Glory
Fathomless
Let the blood now flow From our enemies Until the rivers fill and stain the seas Bodies piled high Vanquished enemies A good day to die For glory To our deaths we’ll ride For honor and glory For our righteous cause Blood must be shed Flesh rended and torn No quarter Hearts ripped from chests Skulls we will cleave The battle rages on For honor Traitors in our midst Corruption and subterfuge Political machinations Self enrichment Values defiled When old empires fall It comes from within Greed and vanity Backroom dealings Rotten to the core Enrich the rich Problems will be solved With violence To our deaths we’ll fight For honor and glory

The Judges
Fathomless
The sins of the past Are not absolved Nor forgotten You will be judged For the species’ crimes Throughout history Insignificant Specks of cosmic dust Proud and arrogant Self important Savage hairless apes Destroying all you touch Claiming virtue Progress must be made No matter the cost “Look how far we’ve come” Insignificant Specks of cosmic dust Proud and arrogant Self destructive “We’re less amoral now” “We strive for peace” This new atrocity Is much more more humane The trial never ends

Spectres (Feat. Josh Turner)
Fathomless
Unfeeling machines Consuming everything All human creation Absorbed Nothing added Only aggregated Into something less Than the sum of its parts Assimilate or die It won’t stop Until it has consumed all Just an assemblage Miscellaneous parts No original thought No soul Consuming resources No end in sight No benefit To humanity Assimilate or die Amalgamations Composite things Ever evolving Adapting Encroaching everywhere Infiltrating No safe harbors No escape Assimilate or die It won’t stop Until it has consumed all

Empire and Conquest
Fathomless
Just a taste Just a dose Just a hit Just one I want more Behind the curtain Pulling unseen strings Armies of lackeys Do their bidding We’ll give you strength We’ll give you power Run through walls Fight like gods Charm them all Sleep no more Kept addicted Kept in line Maybe just one more Will make you feel alive Always searching For the next summit Just one more hit Just one more dose Just one more taste Just one more, just one more I need more The lower depths The endless abyss The threads that link Severed and burned All light has gone But the yearning for more Crawl through filth Fall to the floor Waste away Empty vessel I need more

Hausgeist

Protect the future From the ghosts of the past Fight for survival Of those to come From the clack of boot heels The clash of swords The war machine Yearns for more Justifications Same as before Blood on the earth ’Til the earth is no more Time is a circle That must be broken Time is a circle That can be broken If we have the will to change The tale is ancient They seek to “other” To stoke the flames Divide and conquer Propaganda Conspiracy Equivocation Fallacy Warring factions Secret deals Hypocrisy On a the grandest of scales The ghosts of the past Still haunt us today The ghosts of the past And a future unclaimed The ghosts of the past Still haunt us today Protect the future From the ghosts of the past Fight for survival Of those to come Reject the hatred Reject the lies A more just world Is within our grasp Exorcise the ghosts Of malefaction Recall the past Take the other path Smash the circle Become linear

Intangibles (feat. Alicia Cordisco)
Fathomless
Friend or foe? Where lies your loyalty? Deeply distrusting With a heart of ice Friend or foe? Which shall it be? Will we join forces Against our common enemy? Strength in numbers Though we fight but few The power they hold Is great and terrible Strength in numbers Many may die But without unity None will survive Foe of my foe Which shall it be? Cooperation Or enmity? Foe of my foe The past is past The future unknown Write our own destiny Strength in numbers Though we fight but few The power they hold Is great and terrible Strength in numbers Many may die But without unity None will survive Together we fight Together we destroy Together we fight Together we win Strength in numbers Though we fight but few The power they hold Is great and terrible Strength in numbers Many may die But without unity None will survive

The second full length from Fathomless started out as an homage to Star Trek villains and anti-heroes. But when it came time to write lyrics the realization dawned that life is imitating art a little too well these days and it morphed into an anti-fascist, anti-theocratic, anti-AI album.

The same lineup from the debut album returns, but this time with some special guests joining. Steve Wiener (Am I in Trouble?, Ashenheart, Eveale, Negative Bliss) contributes the albums only clean vocals in the title track. Josh Turner (Dischordia) contributes backing/additional vocals to "Spectres," and Alicia Cordisco (Transgressive, Ex-Judicator) contributed a ripping guitar solo in "Intangibles."

Stylistically this album embraces the Vulcan concept of "Infinite Diversity in Infinite Combinations." While firmly rooted in Black Metal it also draws heavily from Death Metal, Thrash, Punk Rock, Blackgaze, Prog, and Stoner metal.

Fathomless II:Thy Desolation takes a more organic approach to production than the debut album. Mics on loud tube amps, live drums, no VSTs/amp sims, no sample replacement. The result is a wall of sound with a natural "live" feel.
