February Donations and Other News

Greetings and salutations, everyone.

The last several weeks have been…difficult. A great many awful things have happened since Inauguration Day here in the United States, and a great many more continue to come. The assault on our freedoms and democracy has been nothing if not relentless, and it’s been exceedingly difficult to keep my chin up, but we must not give up or give in.

I have several updates to unpack, so please bear with me. Donations were made in the amount of $3.93 to ASAN and $27.00 to BALT on February 1. Touching Grass’s contribution to the compilation Love Songs, “Through the Tears of Heaven,” can now be found on most streaming platforms and continues to raise money to help Dr. Basil support and evacuate his family from Gaza: gofund.me/3fd748c5. And, due to Twitter’s and Meta’s decisions to support the Trump Administration’s efforts to attack the LGBTQIA+ community, facts, information, and the truth, I will be deleting my accounts on those platforms by the end of this month. I cannot in good faith or conscience continue to use social media platforms that do not put the interest of its users above its own personal interests.

All proceeds will be donated to Trans Lifeline, an organization we all need to support as much as we possibly can right now.
