Confluence Ranked #12 in Cyclical Magazine's Best Ambient of 2025!

Jan 29, 2026

I’m a little delayed in getting a post up about this, but better late than never, I suppose!

Cyclical Magazine recently published their January issue, which includes their Best Ambient Albums of 2025 list...and I'm thrilled to say that my album, Confluence, landed at #12 (out of 200)! This is truly unbelievable; thanks to everyone who voted for it! I know "best of" lists are generally arbitrary and unnecessary, but I still consider it an honor to have been included (and to have landed so high on the list)!

Look, it’s me! ^^

To celebrate, I'm giving away 12 free downloads of Confluence--first-come, first-served (though if they're all redeemed and you still want one, just send me a message and I'll share more)! Go here for the free download and check out the January issue here: https://online.pubhtml5.com/qori/gayz/

I wrote this album in early 2025 as music to help calm my frazzled nerves as a response to the barrage of bad news, existential dread, and feelings of hopelessness. Unfortunately, things haven’t really gotten better in the world, so I hope this album can help you find a few moments of peace. Thanks for all your support and stay safe out there!
