What is this?

The general idea when this started was to try and meld the genres of electronica, drone, and neoclassical minimalism, while trying to attempt write music anywhere near as sad as the doom metal I love. I found myself bored with how I wrote music on a guitar and forced myself to stick to a keyboard and lean in to the uncomfortable unknowns of writing on an instrument I could not play. The results have been ever changing. Recently I have been trying to throw in prog rock and explore a bit deeper the doom influence through this process.

Genres

“bleak electronica and experimental music” seems accurately vague enough to encompass the majority of what comes out.

Single track experimental ones “One Shot”. (OS)

My interpretation of electronica is loose and generally implies a mixed bag of “electronicas”. Albums labeled with it have a similar baseline style.

“experimental electronica” is used to denote more of an incorporation of neoclassical minimalism, jazz, or drone into the already loose interpretation of electronica.

“Wrought classical” is made up. The albums noted with it have a very specific sound of very slow classical music with lots of synth layers padding it.
