May's edition covers a period spent living with, and caring for, my folks while my sister was on her honeymoon. It was recorded primarily using an Elektron Model:Samples through a few VSTs, backed by field recordings taken around their bungalow over the course of the month.
I returned home on 25th May. I headed back again on the Wednesday as my Dad had been taken to hospital. He passed away in the early hours of the 30th. The music sounds different now, the context has shifted it entirely. I wasn’t sure whether to release it at all but I felt I should honour the work.
