I wanted to acknowledge the profound impact that legendary industrial music label Wax Trax! Records and its bands have had on my life with this limited-edition cassette release. It pays homage to the amazing 1994 Wax Trax! Records Black Box compilation, which included three CDs in mirror-black cases stored in a metal box & packed inside a fishnet bag with a numbered card & many other goodies. The compilation featured rare tracks from the first 13 years of Wax Trax, the label that helped launch seminal industrial bands like Ministry, Front Line Assembly, Front 242, My Life With the Thrill Kill Kult & so many others.
