With the idea that we collectively create an album that can be shuffled in any order and still have the songs flow seamlessly for a new experience with each shuffle, Passed Recordings, together with members of the Ambient Soundscapes Discord, put together this new compilation: 130.81.
130.81 Hz represents the frequency of the note C3 when instruments are tuned to A440 (standard concert pitch in most Western music). Working with this artistic limitation, the 31 artists created 31 unique pieces of music all based around the one note.
50% of any sales will be donated to Doctors Without Borders (www.msf.org), while the remaining 50% will go toward label expenses.
