Ampwall iOS app released

The official Ampwall iOS app is now available

This has been in development off and on for almost a year across countless hours and so many late nights. We had a great team of testers, everyone with the @mobile app testers tag, who checked builds and offered feedback and helped reproduce bugs. There are still some quirks to iron out but overall I think you’ll find it fast, stable, and premium feeling.

The first version of the app focuses on the music listening and discovery experience. When doing competitive research, I wanted it to feel familiar to people coming from premium feeling apps like Spotify.

All artists and music are in the app. Your library, both purchases and free downloads, will show up immediately. Purchasing new music and merch is done through the web, as is viewing merch pages outright.

In time we will add more features to the mobile app. We think this will be the primary interaction pathway for most listeners and want to make them happy. I hope you enjoy using it. If you can please leave reviews for it in the App Store, it would help us tremendously.

The Android app needs some small UI fixes and then it will be submitted for release. I’ll begin tackling that tomorrow.
