Phobia

Phobia is a punishing, powerful metal record from the school of the riff. Guitar work is front and center, with the aforementioned riffs being the centerpiece. The bridges and choruses are often bookended with shreddy, but tasteful soloing. Like most Biscuit Merchant records, variety in vocals is a major component as well. Effortlessly dancing the line between thrash and death metal, with an occasional sprinkle of prog, Phobia is an album that refuses to take prisoners.
