Consider God's Lowliest Creature
A Colossal Hand
Which way modern man? Buried by sea or by sand? It’s all the same No one will remember your name Stave off the thought Embrace the rot Stave off the thought Embrace the rot You’re chasing nothing Catching air in a jar Just to fake your way Through another day It’s a cul de sac It’s a dead end track What fresh indignity Will you endure? Which new low Will deliver you? The flaying you desire: A self-immolation empire A throat in need of a wire A martyr in search of a fire

The Last Good Days is an expression of anxiety, frustration, and futility in the face of ecological destruction. The EP title refers to the thought that eventually, each and every living thing experiences its last "good" moments before the agony of death. There is no guarantee that we will realize we are experiencing those fleeting last smiles until after they've already faded, and we take for granted every pleasant experience. The grand question is: when the bad times come, will you be satisfied with how you spent the good ones?
