Out from the jungle Spears in their hands A people forgotten We’ve entered their lands “Prepare for battle” I shout to my horde “Load up the cannons!” “Sharpen your swords!” No longer weary My withdrawals withdrawn Impending slaughter Is driving me on Caressing my blade With indecent lust Longing to stab and thrust With an ear-splitting shriek They mount their attack Arrows aflame Rain down on the deck Our captain is slain A spear through the skull Rocks from below Tear into the hull The din of the battle Is strangely serene Water rushes in murky and green Our ship is consumed By the river so vile And I just can’t help but smile A flash of my blade Entrails scatter around me A flick of the wrist The severing of heads A trail of corpses Lying behind me A village of victims Directly ahead Sudden as death Paralysis strikes me A break in the clouds Lights up the night Robbed of free will An end to my rampage I gaze at the star As I’m stripped of my sight
