Am I in Trouble?
Cycles Twisting, spirals ending Only to come back around Repeating Nothing matters It's all, going to end Cycles Twisting, spirals unending It's a salve A tonic A placebo Sugar pills to bide the time All directions look the same Each time we see that, we find a way To keep, going And try to forget, ever knowing Air. Water. Salt. Sugar. Acid. Bile. Mucous. Blood. Cycles Pumping blue, bleeding red Wearing down, fading away, falling out, til the day. Cycles, your cycles ends. You are consumed, by things, you never even see. You are just a gruel, nutrition. Your cycle ends. It's a salve, a tonic Sugar pills to bide the time, to bide the time

Red was Am I in Trouble? getting boots on the ground.

An off-kilter journey through bellowing, twisting, bass-driven black metal, with slicing intertwining guitars, and bludgeoning drumwork. Growling, grunting, howling vocals bounce off sweet, haunting, harmonized voices.

Call it a demo; call it a single— a small taste of things to come.

Red now exists in a new-and-improved state on the debut album Spectrum, with a significantly improved mix, newly recorded guitars, and a new master courtesy of Erik Peabody.

This single version of Red remains here for posterity and the fun of exploring the iterative nature of music creation.
