Disspiate Into Nothing

As the scope of space grows The scope of the worth of our lives Shrinks into nought A hundred billion lifetimes, meaningless Infinitesimally superficial I watch as I dissipate into nothing Grim Bleak But only to the weak The ones with brains big enough To see this and weep As the universe implodes Nothing of consequence unfolds With a whimper Not with a bang It was but a blink Utterly trivial And, for myself I know Nothing could be sweeter
