Until Morale Improves
Beyond Grace
We're all just pawns In a game that we were born to lose Where those who make the laws can break all the rules And play us for fools Certain that no-one will hold them accountable They serve the law to the letter That and no further Morally bankrupt in word and in deed Faceless enforcers, servants of order No-one is watching the watchmen They do as they please Do as they say (not as they do) Learn to obey your masters One rule for them (and another for you) The beatings will continue... No matter what you do The cruelty is the point There is no excuse You have the right to stay silent Meek and compliant If you've nothing to hide then you've nothing to fear Do as they say (not as they do) Learn to obey your masters One rule for them (and another for you) The beatings will continue... We've learned to love our shackles And lick their boots with grateful tongues Sycophantic soldiers of the static status quo Programmed to preserve the social order they uphold Their authority grants them immunity From all consequence That's how they keep their control With their knees on our necks and their boots on our thoats Laughing as they tighten the rope Judged by the ignorant Praised for their vigilance No-one is innocent now Do as they say (not as they do) Learn to obey your masters One rule for them (and another for you) The beatings will continue... Until morale improves

Part 2 of our EP trilogy, which will ultimately be collected and released physically as our third album, "Welcome to the New Dark Ages".

Featuring three new songs covering topics like police corruption, cannibal capitalism, and the allure of mob justice - inspired by the works of George Orwell, Agustina Bazterrica, Nancy Fraser, and Charlie Brooker (and more) - it continues our quest to elevate both our songwriting skills and our technical talents (with, as always, more of a focus on the former) by pushing ourselves to go heavier, hookier, and proggier than ever.
