BMK - The Electric Pulse - Discharge #7 - "Capricorn Dance (Tatanka Summer Dance Remix)"
from Tales of the Upright & The Electric Pulse
The idea was born with the title, a double EP album with 7 tracks each, which are more double bass-heavy (Tales...) or electric bass-heavy (Electric...).
The completely different and yet closely related instruments naturally have an effect on the pieces, which are all self-written.
They are instrumented with bowed and plucked basses, vocals, clapping, snapping, percussion and samples from everyday life, nature and instrument databases.
Tales of the Upright are diary-like songs and improvisations,
while on The Electric Pulse, a colorful hodgepodge of styles sometimes even invites you to dance.
One thing is clear: in the history of me as a solo artist, my third release is another milestone for me.
And my heartfelt thanks go out to my dear friend and partner-in-crime during those recording days, the talented singer/songwriter Catwalski who is also the bandleader of the very cool band Luke I’m your Dad hailing from my former hometown, Bonn. They’re here on Ampwall, don’t miss out!
