Beyond The Sleepless Aether

In the temple of dancing light, strokes of vibrant green, streak across the sky, giving way too melting blues and pinks. Like waves crashing over each other, it walks itself deeper into darkness. Leaving a trail behind; the painted sky The perpetual whip of the wind lashing at the skin Bites of the northern air, the musky scent of pines pierce the senses, every step a mile closer, and further away. A tapestry is woven With the eternal threads of reality Showing scenes unspoken Before my eyes A glimpse of light through the still drawn curtains A glimpse beyond the veil The grass, that lay beneath My feet, laced of morning dew Lead me to the evergreen Cresting morning light

Lay down in the grass Close your mind to everything There it stood like stone in the fog A steeple of the golden age Once a place of peace for misery Now stands rotten and overgrown Vines reach for sky grabbing for light Trying to rewrite the past In the light of an endless sunset It shows itself to me Is it another work of fiction Or an alternate reality A giant flash of light Creating lines Spliting reality Revealing multiverse A world reversed Nothing will ever be the same

Kneel before thee, the old Wolves spoke, Voices in my mind Without a lick of the tongue Oh forest spirit, great one, help us reclaim, Greed & Industry has come Consuming land, devouring everything Tendrils of hatred consume us once more Forged to protect every living thing I feel the anger Taking over my mind A plague of ash, a storm of embers Birthing clouds of poisonous soot Decay and Rot; logs of timBER Destroying the homes of the earth Homes of the earth} The culling of ancient ones We must retake the promised land Retake the forest, mother of earth The absence of light Poisonous clouds showing promise of Rain Foreshadowing plight Culling the spirits of this earthly plane What can we do Stop the machine before it's too late Using this curse To make industry fall to it's knees Hope you feel good now Eviscerating forest spirits Now up in smoke And a trail of worms The hatred takes us over Oh nameless one of rage and hate Pass on in peace and bear us no hatred With our lives we protect the land until we die And as smoke escapes his lips The vision he projects A line of sight made for my eyes I can see it all I see the disease They fall to their knees With destruction through flame A land lost to greed Must be reclaimed Before we lose our way As I awaken, lucid dreams The ancients whisper to me Heed my warning, This was not a dream But a vision of the past Of one we must not repeat

There is a winding road lined with trees of oak O' willows speak to me underneath the blood soaked sea a sky stained red Like a song it calls to the dead The lycanthropic man prays, full moon flesh it tears, in nights shade it looms A lost child adorned in white Skin cloaked by its past life Made its home in the middle of the road Awaiting the stranger A Nightmare bestowed Of ash and ember From sky, meets ground The unending nightmare A fear renowned In the void he sleeps In dreams he seeks To awaken from slumber In endless reality In the darkness he prevails In shadows he sits still In light he's nowhere be found A home he's made underground Lurking and lurking and lurking He's shifting through the night He's lurking and lurking and lurking A lust for blood, his appetite A lust for blood For blood he prays And For blood he dies Along the moonlit path Exhausted breathing Weak legs and damaged head For death I am cheating In this locked room I pray to god A sick game played on us Brash choices made to gain some relief A cost shaded in disbelief When will this end I've suffered so much A constant Twisting and turning and shifting Through the multiverse And I've had enough Through the endless doorways To endless dreams I've given up

Through the passage way A step into sand The dry hot air Embraces my face The Sweeping spirals Sit Restlessly Among the halcyon horizon Forever, endlessly The sand in my eyes The grit in my teeth A land of liquid nothing Envelops the scene Beneath the swollen blue sky No clouds embrace Only dry desert Sun Sits in their place It stares me down It slows my pace The blistering sands recede my skin The scorpions tail raises in warning The ever turning wall of sand Rolls continuously towards me And here they come The wavering visions A mirage come to life A true hallucination The whipping wind Sculpts this desert plain Sandstone arches Are All that remain Whispering winds speak to me The story unclear An ancient secret within the sands Unheard for centuries Am I the chosen one Am I the Savior To the end of the world The prophet of our damnation The one to save us all Its all in my mind In the sweltering heat Shade cast aside Only shadows of vultures lie Pyramids point towards the sky A cold breeze touches my skin The night sky slowly seeps in Gripping me with it's frozen hand Instilling frost on the land Echoes of past and future- like Oceans breathing life- straight into my fragile mind, I-- see beyond the veil, death greets me with psalms of a forgotten time Now let me go Drifting away. far away No more pain, or mortal coils My consciousness erodes Decaying time Death's eternal veil covers my eyes. As I sit within the stars Enveloped by the cosmos The earth calls back to me Begging for attention A barren waste sits Polluted, days past Lost within the light of changing time No place in time lasts I've seen past the black Void Through its darkened veil A series of time and places all intertwined As I travel through the gates And pass through its many faces A vast green world turned white With a flip of a switch A kaleidoscope Of flashing scenes An ever-moving picture paints The in between The world preordained to laws on the next In the endless knot we dance frantically Forever Searching for the meaning to life A show of melancholic pageantry What is this world what does it want with me A feeling of loss Ready to pay the fee If I we're to die would everything stay the same So what does it matter In these parallel settings I contemplate my life Is my existence for naught A null point in time Useless to resist I should just accept my fate

Isolation Alone but all together The feeling of creation Loneliness and desertion Up above, while they look down below You can't burn yourself, to keep the others warm A path of self righteous thinking The issue is somebody else A tightness in my breathing I feel so alone They pretend like they see me A ghost like noone else Sometimes I feel like heaving And crying for help Judgement, the boundless feeling A heart thats lost home There is no place for healing Nobody knows Desolation The anger that builds within me A flame that cannot be contained Oh ire and endless fury The rage that's always been Smouldering ashes into flame Rising up internally The anger rages in me I would trade all these thoughts for sleep The Restless nights , I hunger for dreams The constant pumping of my heart A sinking feeling that it's falling apart And If I were to never breathe again What a relief it would be, to meet my end A constant worry of leaving behind A life that to others might seem fine The ones I love few and far between An end unforseen Through constellations So Far beyond the flesh Past the gates and through the aether To the planes of death The cold stone pathway, Lined of moss Walks me through all these lives I've lost Past the realms and the in between Please release me of all I've seen The empty space through the knot Of the hangman's noose Shimmers and calls to me Visions of life break and shatter Loosing all reality Am I where Ive always been On the cusp of eternity Taking the final step Embracing the eternal sleep The final curtain once risen, falls The end of this journey, the sleep~ now calls The flickering flame in my soul, now fades Towards eternal somnium, letting go
