Illusions That Dance In Flames

“A Fool’s Errand” began as Dahliad's 2nd attempt at a dungeon synth record. As more and more guitar parts came out, it quickly morphed into something different, a dark ambient, atmospheric, instrumental dungeon guitar record. It was written during the height of the pandemic and the ensuing existential dread so it is intended to be an exploration on themes of loss, empathy, identity, and illusion.

It was conceived and written during “The Fool’s Feast” streaming series that aired as part of Northeast Dungeon Siege TV back in 2021.
