The seeds of this had been slowly growing for years, ever since I first read about long-term nuclear waste warning messages and the work of the Human Interference Task Force. I struggle to plan for next week, so it blows my mind that some people can be looking thousands of years into the future and thinking about how to keep our descendants safe from the problems we've created for ourselves.
