Hunter's Moon

For autumn nights and the spirits that inhabit them.

You feel the late autumn chill in your bones as you listen to the dry rattle of leaves and swaying branches in the wind. There's a sort of nostalgic comfort in the smell of the campfire smoke as you watch it disappear into the night sky. You miss the warmth of home, but you can't help but feel connected to this living world around you; a world full of spirits that so many take for granted, where even the stars seem to be alive.

In the distance, you see the moonlit remains of some ruined civilization, and your mind starts to wander with all the untold stories lost within its crumbling walls.

These are stories of life and death, and of the fall of old kings, but also of perseverance and the wilderness that rose in their stead.

Keep the fire burning, for the long night will soon be upon you.
