Assault on Castle Dreadpathia — O-Card Edition

Side A is a properly mixed and mastered version of the release, with each channel recorded individually from a Game Boy Pocket headphone output.

For Side B, the raw speaker output of the Game Boy at max volume was recorded through an electret mic connected to a child’s Fisher-Price cassette recorder with no mixing, no mastering, no independent channel volume control, no gods, no masters. This (cheap, NOS 60-minute cassette) recording was then digitized via playback through a JVC KD-85. That’s it. (Side B, due to the very nature of a child’s microphone and cassette mechanism, includes some audio weirdness and flaws that some people might find charming.)
