Comparable to a storm roiling with rolling thunder and black skies whilst a downpour comes on, this is the kind of black metal that is simply captivating to fall into. More than competent in being able to bring all of its many different parts together while always ensuring a scathing approach that does beyond enough justice for its influences, “Eternal Roar of the Thunder and Rain” is the 2025 start that black metal can really lean on for excellence.

Really stellar album that invokes older, more classic black metal sounds and textures. Longer compositions, but they remain interesting and never drag. Some nice nylon-string flourishes and a very organic sound overall. Recommended.

Opens with wonderfully atmospheric beautiful sinister arpeggios then becomes absolutely pummeling. Great melodies, aesthetically cohesive, awesome bass tone, epic guitar solos that are memorable. Really love this and keep going back to listen.

Tremendous, organic, and immersive black metal experience. The album is atmospheric without sacrificing heft / heaviness, and deftly incorporates moments of delicate acoustic guitar work. The art by Luciana Nedelea perfectly reflects the tone and texture of the music. Mysterious, foggy, & deep, and feels as though its presence extends beyond its own boundaries of existence.
