Corporeal fractures Essence separates Violent transposition Self-observed from above, lingering Communicants, wretched spires Materialize, surround, engulf Great tongues through which Creations are spoken (and thus conceived) Possessing the husk, now lifeless Diminished into anemic sedation Vigor mutates into weakness Life transmutes into energy The light is gleaned, the refuse discarded The radiances collect evermore Vigorous accretion unknown Martyred fragments once threshed Merging, veiled in shadow Returning to past forms Communicants, wretched spires Materialize, surround, engulf Great tongues through which Creations are spoken (and thus conceived) The light is gleaned, the refuse discarded The radiances collect evermore Bask within the glory Beneath the searing sky Become a torch Or turn to ashes Time’s grasp tightens As hope grows dim They’ll turn to ashes They’ll turn to ashes Returning to past forms Shrouds of diffused light, revitalized The fragments recovered Can bind together once again And become whole
