Nauvidatha — The Ship of Light

Nauvidatha is the artist project of songwriter, musician and producer Roberto Melgar, created at Lake Atitlán, Guatemala.

Moving between alternative rock, indie folk, psychedelic textures and Latin influences, the music explores transformation, memory, love, freedom and the search for meaning. English and Spanish coexist naturally throughout the songs, alongside acoustic instruments, electric guitars, organic rhythms and atmospheric production.

Nauvidatha is more than a name for a collection of songs. The ship is a metaphor for the journey: moving through uncertainty, carrying what we have learned, and continuing toward something not yet known.

The music is written, recorded and produced independently by Roberto Melgar at Lake Atitlán.

The Ship of Light is the journey. The songs are its coordinates.
