Reckoning of the Inquisitor

I have been chosen - His holiest son - to rid the world of blasphemy and impurity. I am the Hammer of God, sent to burn those who conspire against His kingdom. None shall be spared under the watchful eyes of our Lord. Witches and all turncoats will be set ablaze. All who practice foulest magics will burn. Only those who are pure, devout, and in His image will survive His Inquisition. I gaze upon this wretched flock in pure disgust as they sacrifice their souls for a chance to kneel before he who brings upon the end. As they pucker their mouths for their kiss of shame, I shall shout to the heavens and demand their demise. An oath is sworn to Satan himself, dancing naked by the fires, to summon the diabolical demons of the underworld. To seduce and torment those who serve the lord God, only to watch the world crumble and fall. I shall not bear it. I shall do what I must. To save humanity, I will do anything. A death filled with pain. It is not for my pleasure, though it does please me. It is what they deserve. I hear the voice of God - he orders me to purify this kingdom. I must bring light to the darkness.
