Beneath Moonlight

This pain in my head. Every time that damned bell rings. Agony! I collapse on the ground, writhing in pain as my head pulses, My body feels like it’s covered in vermin. The itching, oh the itching I’m vibrating, bones feel like they’re ready to burst out of my flesh Fingers begin to peel, My nails burst into hideous claws, Teeth growing sharp like a hellbeast I can smell the heinous stench of my breath Oh, what a rotten smell it is Body feels like it’s on fire, curse you all witches, Damn you to hell Tufts of fur sprout from my flesh. Just like a dogman, as the witch said. Robes are ripping, bones are cracking. Ears are piecing with every sound Oh Lord. I have truly been forsaken. There’s a mutiny in Heaven, I should have been left to die Chosen to be the hammer of god, now cursed to be this blasphemous beast. Beneath moonlight, What have I become? Damned be these witches, and damned be my God. A hideous monstrosity I can not live like this, I must seek a cure Beneath moonlight, I shall be man once more.
