Icegorger Gauntlets
Sallow Moth
synopsis: Mystical gauntlets forged by panglacial moth creatures, often given as gifts to warriors to withstand battle and travel in the coldest planes. Under specific conditions, these gauntlets possess the remarkable ability to decelerate the passage of time. In the midst of his journey, a warrior receives a telepathic summons from an unidentified entity, urging him to seek out a long-lost companion. His quest leads him to a remote, frigid expanse characterized by towering snowy peaks, intricate ice labyrinths, and a formidable ice castle. Equipped with the mystical gauntlets, he embarks on this perilous adventure, resolute in his mission to locate his friend. lyrics: Panglacial moths Circle the mountains and frozen lakes Sentinels of frost Timegorgers, suspended anima Split clockwinding in proliferation Gift offering, descend In this cold plane Gauntlets to latch on for dear life Split second dream, extend Slowing down time, suspend Traverse Aetherhold Ice maze Muscles tighten Blood freezes Fresh pair of gauntlets to eat time Whirring sounds from distant caves Across the lakes, in the skies Faint screams behind blocks of ice Breach With fists a light blue glow to break the first layer Rift bends Faces come into view A cold museum, life’s delay Retrace my blows Gift given, break the zoo Spirit manipulation, crack second layer Ice maze Walls regrowing Worms approach Distorted mind to keep battling Breach again fucker I can barely see the prisoners Even if I slow down time Snow violently falling, falling When will I reach the cave

Mossbane Lantern: A powerful, green-encrusted lantern hidden on an icy plane. This highly coveted artifact allows humans to temporarily displace their corporeal form and teleport short distances within the plane they are on, while granting non-humans the ability to teleport over greater distances, including interdimensional travel.

Mossbane Lantern serves as an extension to the anthological format of the Vial EP, revolving around various esoteric artifacts. Each song depicts a story of a different traveler's experiences on their unique path to the Mossbane Lantern, as well as the aftereffects of activating it in conjunction with these other artifacts.

Notable influences on this album: Akercocke, Cynic, Cephalic Carnage, Wormed, Mortal Decay, Biolich, Edge of Sanity, maudlin of the Well, Bark Psychosis, Funeral Diner.
