Psionic Battery
Sallow Moth
synopsis: A superficial attachment for travelers to wear during interdimensional travel. It serves as a preventative measure against the mental exhaustion one will experience during a temporal shift. If worn too long, it will cause the wearer to mentally phase shift into an entirely new persona. lyrics: Acuity reaching level high Bring me to that place Careen into space Of fabrication, protection Layer weigh heavy on me Just a ghost on a chip in a corpse’s head It seems Call back to headquarters forgotten Came back to senses with the battery Go ahead and unlock this planet Nerve damage minimal I’ve worn this before Keep trajectory, keep acuity level high I wish I could go back to a time before Just clamp down on the fractals Button mash, new rock found Deathspore familiars sprout I found a different sanctuary Temple of the omnipresent I’m a disciple of, disciple of, disciple of change Battery level torched Torque tweak, blood changes Psionic shapeshifting Splattering battery

Mossbane Lantern: A powerful, green-encrusted lantern hidden on an icy plane. This highly coveted artifact allows humans to temporarily displace their corporeal form and teleport short distances within the plane they are on, while granting non-humans the ability to teleport over greater distances, including interdimensional travel.

Mossbane Lantern serves as an extension to the anthological format of the Vial EP, revolving around various esoteric artifacts. Each song depicts a story of a different traveler's experiences on their unique path to the Mossbane Lantern, as well as the aftereffects of activating it in conjunction with these other artifacts.

Notable influences on this album: Akercocke, Cynic, Cephalic Carnage, Wormed, Mortal Decay, Biolich, Edge of Sanity, maudlin of the Well, Bark Psychosis, Funeral Diner.
