synopsis: Invisible boots created for overseers of the Mossbane Lantern. This protects their corporeal form from incidental displacement during their duty. When a human overseer of the Mossbane Lantern comes into proximity with an enchanted moth, a fusion occurs, resulting in the emergence of a novel entity. lyrics: Liquid languish of lost languages Unknown death wish, lividity’s extremities Affinity for the lurk of the lantern Human observer, turner of the sacral dial Portal opener, portal opener to world viewers Yet tethered to this remote realm By boots of aether, artificer’s specialty Servym’s command, post mortem Creatures of all kinds Stoke the flames Moss forever burning Witness the spectacle eternal Eternal Sprawl of flora, only this cave, cave Every visitor transmutable But humans stay chained to this rock Mutation, bio alchemy, sorcery Will bestow upon you the dimensional reach Nearby dust trail of a moth unfamiliar Curiosities catch the observer An unexpected encounter Dust inhalation surges through him As the whimsical flyer reaches the light An erratic mutation reshapes Cellular mixture collected by the flash of travel Unstable processor, fusion of moth and man A free spirit clashes with obedience Rematerializes into Warp of chaos and turbulent emergence Drift into dark intimations, walk no longer

Mossbane Lantern: A powerful, green-encrusted lantern hidden on an icy plane. This highly coveted artifact allows humans to temporarily displace their corporeal form and teleport short distances within the plane they are on, while granting non-humans the ability to teleport over greater distances, including interdimensional travel.

Mossbane Lantern serves as an extension to the anthological format of the Vial EP, revolving around various esoteric artifacts. Each song depicts a story of a different traveler's experiences on their unique path to the Mossbane Lantern, as well as the aftereffects of activating it in conjunction with these other artifacts.

Notable influences on this album: Akercocke, Cynic, Cephalic Carnage, Wormed, Mortal Decay, Biolich, Edge of Sanity, maudlin of the Well, Bark Psychosis, Funeral Diner.
