Cemetery fog crawls in Silence of the dead Rain keeps falling down A lone figure in the dark Amidst the headstones Crypts breathe malevolence A light into the night Graveyard lanterns alit Open tombs call to me Ever deeper I wander Hateful murmur echoes Pestilence fills my mind As the mists they gather The torch it dies Necromancer’s curse It takes hold The flesh ripped open By the words unspoken To reach divinity Horrendous transformation Ghoulish monstrosity Hexes of purulence Succumb to urges Devour putrid flesh Rhythm of the rot Language of the worms To wither is divine Graveyard lanterns dimmed
