Behold the faint glowing stones there in the graveyard Their cold devouring light draws me in closer deeper into night The black field of death begs me to enter They lie there in ruins in constant decay Void of Life In the cover of the years longest night I will creep amongst the graves I will defile years of trust Underneath the earth Chills run through my body as I’m led every step of the way In certain clarity I have found the devouring light In the shadows of the tomb I recite the words Crouched within the circle Guided by the moon Enshrouded by the darkness of night Osiris Lord of the dead Grant me your wisdom Through communion with the dead Here within the open grave Pit of the entombed This hole of dust and emptiness Lost in decay There lies a pile of death a silent totem of bone Lain upon a throne of dirt in a palace of mold I hold the skull within my hands and I stare into the gaze of a corpse See only truth in its eyes and in this moment I feel alone Called to enter and here I have learned It is here that I’ve found myself Here within this tomb

The collected efforts of over 55 bands have coalesced into "Heavy for the Hollers", a 4.5+ hour genre-spanning compilation that unites artists from across the scene together in a common cause.

The devastating effects of Hurricane Helene were felt across the nation but most potently in Appalachia due to its lack of resources and infrastructure robust enough to resist a storm of such magnitude. We at Liminal Dread Productions in conjunction with the band Threnodist felt compelled to compile this set of tracks in hopes that it might encourage many to give what they can in service of beginning the healing process. Though immediate aid is critical, it is sustained giving which allows a region to recover.

All proceeds from sale of this compilation will go to Mutual Aid Disaster relief.

Other methods of giving include purchasing at Bandcamp or by directly donating to Mutual Aid Disaster Relief. Provide proof of a direct donation to [email protected] to receive a Bandcamp download code.
