Time and time again An utter loss for words My feet they seem to move But momentum can't carry on A path so dark No light could shine the way The strings that pull Become the chains that shackle me Invert, reject, deny No sound, not a voice to be heard She doesn't get to speak Heads hung lower than ever before Close the door, turn off the light I refuse this way of life And the farce that it's become If this is what is expected of me I'll live my life to disobey Invert, reject, deny I will never bend a knee I will always defy Life is a cheap excuse for this charade twist the dagger to the right, exquisite pain What she feels is irrelevant, it's your control Tighten your grip It's not lives lost, it's lives not lived under the boot Of righteous guilt Please deliver us from your followers Please deliver us from the followers of your name

The collected efforts of over 55 bands have coalesced into "Heavy for the Hollers", a 4.5+ hour genre-spanning compilation that unites artists from across the scene together in a common cause.

The devastating effects of Hurricane Helene were felt across the nation but most potently in Appalachia due to its lack of resources and infrastructure robust enough to resist a storm of such magnitude. We at Liminal Dread Productions in conjunction with the band Threnodist felt compelled to compile this set of tracks in hopes that it might encourage many to give what they can in service of beginning the healing process. Though immediate aid is critical, it is sustained giving which allows a region to recover.

All proceeds from sale of this compilation will go to Mutual Aid Disaster relief.

Other methods of giving include purchasing at Bandcamp or by directly donating to Mutual Aid Disaster Relief. Provide proof of a direct donation to [email protected] to receive a Bandcamp download code.
