Yzi, a goblin, was born into squalor and raised in dirt and grime. Yzi, along with others of their kin, had no real familial structure, and was raised primarily through intuition and feral instinct. Yzi, while scavenging for scraps of food and anything of worth, stumbled upon a mysterious cult, the "Chosen of the Comet". The cult either took pity on Yzi, or saw them as just another body to help their cause, taking Yzi under their wing.
The beliefs of the cult tell of the existence of a comet which arrives every 3 millennia which may or may not exist. It is said that when the comet arrives it will impact at a place known as Mo'Esbar. The location of Mo'Esbar is lost to time. Yzi knows it to exist, and was exiled at a young age, and will seek out to return to the fabled, sacred location.
This album was written in 2020 while I have a broken metacarpal in my left hand. It is composed almost entirely using the Korg M1.
