These songs and book are a result of February Album Writing Month (FAWM)/RPM 2026. I set out to push myself, and push I did. The result is a full soundtrack to the book The Orion Chronicles. The story was written alongside the album. Both completed in February 2026. Album art was created by the amazing Walks and features the main character of the story, Cyrix Orion. I spent march editing the book and putting the final touches on the mixes. A couple of extra songs appear that were not part of the initial FAWM offering, these were ideas that were started but scrapped along the way and completed for this soundtrack.

The Orion Chronicles is based around the world, Cor2F, created by Vern Carson. The story follows the character Cyrix Orion as he carries out his mission to retrieve a prisoner and data from the Surface Management Corp headquarters in Site 17.

"Seven years ago, they took his sister.

He was eleven. She was fifteen. The lancers came out of the grass on a warm afternoon in Site 5, and by the time the sun went down, Nikki Orion was gone and Cyrix was alone in a field that had stopped being safe.

He spent four years working every farm job Site 5 had to offer, saving every coin, until they finally added up to a transit ticket. He spent three more years inside Site 17 learning its corridors and its factions and the names of the people who knew the names of the people he needed, working his way toward the building at the center of it all.

Surface Management Corp. The kind of company that exists everywhere and is noticed nowhere.

Cyrix has been watching them long enough to know that the unremarkable facade is doing the most important work. That somewhere behind the server core running in its temperature-controlled vault is the answer to a question he has been carrying for seven years.

He's about to find out that the answer is worse than the question."
