Not for nothing, to them we’re nothing, I am Not that often, worth something, fuck them You just can’t help it, compulsive lying, you do Not that often, something worthwhile, big cheese You can say it all the fucking time Work to live, live to work I don’t care if we’re friends I don’t care if we’re friends All bosses are scum I don’t care what they say Not for nothing, to them we’re nothing, I am Not that often, worth something, fuck them You just can’t help it, compulsive lying, you do Not that often, something worthwhile – work death If the job was worth doing They would do it themselves

XIAO, Stockholm’s relentless force in hardcore, returns with their debut full-length, CONTROL. Building on the raw intensity of their EPs PAIN (2021) and BURN (2023), CONTROL pushes their sound to new heights, blending powerviolence ferocity with the urgency of modern hardcore. Recorded by Jörgen “Jugglo” Wall and mixed by Ben Jones (Pest Control), the album features collaborations with Lifecrusher, Entry, Blood Sermon, and others, delivering XIAO’s most politically charged and uncompromising work to date.
