BMK is a German jazz double bassist, pop electric bassist, singer and musician born in Kenya, raised in Washington D.C., Beijing and Bonn. He attended the conservatories of Rotterdam and Mainz. He uses basses, vocals, other instruments and samples to be able to work solo, he also plays big band jazz, smaller ensembles and duo. His solo recordings are produced by his sound engineer of choice, Frank Brempel of Blue-In-Green-Studios Bonn, who also adds his lovely violin. BMK also loves to watch and write dark crime fiction - and Thai food.
