Secrets Of The Forge
Dreamslain
Secrets Of The Forge
Since dawn of time they come with steel
Say that they rule from us they steal
Barons and kings are all the same
Thus ignites rebellion's flame!
How can we fight with our bare hands
Against the mighty who rule the lands
Into the marsh where witches dwell
How to forge iron they us will tell
Feel the heat, feel the might
Forge of rebellion burns bright
Forge the swords for your fight
Rise up, defend your right
Taken from home sent over sea
Made into slaves where can we flee?
Their god commands us to be slaves
Only escape to die in the waves
In secret spread whispers of hope
Rise up and fight don’t fear the rope
Underground railroad or battleship
Never again shall we feel the whip
Feel the heat, feel the might
The forge of rebellion burns bright
Forge the swords for your fight
Rise up, defend your right
In the Ural mountains last time they forged the sword
Uniting the peoples to fight the sun cross horde
Victory achieved the alliance fell
Teaching greed and hate breaking the sword's spell
Solo: Anna Loppacher
Feel the heat, feel the might
The forge of rebellion burns bright
Forge the swords for your fight
Rise up, defend your right
The people starve die in your wars
While in your palace behind golden doors
You feast all night so we demand
Us to be given rule of our land
We’ll turn to witches' ancient lore to learn
We’ll forge new swords to fight is our turn
We won’t repeat the old mistakes
So that the sword shall never again break
All over the world you will hear our call
To reforge the world and this time include all
No more be divided by borders of land
Who you choose to love or colour of your hand

Burn The Boats
Dreamslain
Burn The Boats
The sea is black
Fishing boats come empty back
Big ships are taking the fish far away
Plundering the hope of those who must stay
They’re crying, despairing: will they all now die?
Searching for a way out but finding a lie
There is no hope when profit rules all
Greed will succeed, humans will fall
Dead bodies they bring from the sea
People in despair that had tried to flee
Like a plague greed in the world has spread
Slave till you fall, and then beg till your dead
Broken they beg their children to feed
Surrender themselves to the masters of greed
Burn your ships and become our slaves
The aid you’ll get for it will lead to your graves
I will not bow, I will not be a slave I will stand tall
I will not yield, I will never abandon the great seas call
I won’t bow down, so rise up and come follow me
We will not yield, we will build a new ship, and we’ll sail the sea
Solo: Daniel Paulsen Figenschou
We will set sail
Over the sea
We will catch fish
We will be free
The fish we catch
We’ll bring back to shore
No one shall starve
Forevermore
We will not bow, we will not be slaves we will stand tall
We will not yield, we will never abandon the great seas call
We won’t bow down,so rise up and come follow me
We will not yield, we will build a new ship, and we’ll sail the sea

Braving The Storm
Dreamslain
Braving The Storm
Cutting through the waves she’s the fastest vessel
Harvest of the sea back to port she brings
At the rudder stands the ships old captain
Tales of everywhere she’s sailed quietly she sings
Through ship wrecks and hardship, still she has prevailed
Albatross rests on his deck, by the law of the sea she sailed
Fleeing a land without hope any
A tiny boat with refugees many
For a new life a desperate hope
Waves rise as towers over the small boat
Losing control, cannot sail, barely float
On radio hear their desperate hope
They are unwanted, there is no hope, nowhere for them to flee
Grey ships are sent not to save but to push them back to sea
Their lives are worth nothing, they’re not citizens so let them die
Let their boat sink, let them drown, no one for them will cry
Cutting through the waves she’s the fastest vessel
She has heard the call, she’s coming at full speed
All the sailors know, of the sea the first law
Never turn your back on a ship in need
Grey ships try to stop her force her to back down
As the sailors try to save those about to drown
More ships arrive to battle the seas
Sailors born here and refugees
Here to outsail the boat of Charon
Saving one by one without any rest
Defy the gray ships threats of arrest
They’ll stay undefeated standing as one
Solo: Anna Loppacher
How can you stand by and watch as people die?
You’ve made it illegal to help can you tell me why?
Do you think we’ll just back down and stop to care?
Abandon our fellow humans and leave them in despair?
Save our souls
Brave the storm
Save our souls
Brave the storm

Ghost Story
Dreamslain
Ghost Story
A place abandoned
No one goes there
Legends of darkness
Keep all away in fear
You who have wandered
Through this black gate
Why have you come here
To test your fate
Abandon all hope who enters here
There’s no escape from this place of fear
Hear the ghosts laments in the dark halls
See shadows crawling on ancient walls
It’s not the wind that’s howling your name
It’s not illusion the will o’wisp flame
You’re not mistaken they grasp your feet
Ghosts of those that death here did meet
Solo: Anna Loppacher
Murdered in hate for they were different
They were gathered, were tortured and slaughtered in here.
Soldiers who fought to liberate them
All were buried, and then forgotten in here
Now you are hunted for you are different
You’ll be gathered, and tortured and slaughtered somewhere
No one will fight to liberate you
The worlds hearts have gone cold and forgotten you there
Hunted by the living you don’t fear the dead
Always on the run since your home you fled
You hope to hide from them in these dark halls
The ghosts whisper you’ll be safe in their walls
Now they have found you – there’s no place to flee
Scarier than ghosts are their smirks and glee
You know they’ll hurt you as they grasp your feet
Is this where your sad tale its end will meet
You screams raise them from their rest
Davids star or red star on their chest
The dead rise to fight once more
From Dachau to Sobibor

The Dragon Of Ice
Dreamslain
The Dragon Of Ice
Every winter she would go
In the forest, through the snow
Where no one had ever been
To see sights no one had seen
Waterfalls frozen to glass
Beyond them dwarfs would amass
Diamonds and shining gold
That told all fairytales old
And the trees covered with snow
A path to a land would show
Filled with elven dance and song
Made her feel like she belonged
On an island she would go
Over a white bridge of snow
There a dragon of blue light
Would tell her tales of lands bright
One time she had stayed to long
Listening to an ancient song
All the village looked for her
On the island they found her
Weapons they all drew in fear
Of the dragon they saw there
Creature of a distant realm
Force that them could overwhelm
Only the girl not afraid
Only words by her was said
Holding back the peoples fear
Faerie realm now disappear
A sad gaze, nothing was said
The great wyrm his wings wide spread
All the villages’ people can
Now live safe from fairyland
Twelve dark shapes on the grey sky
Twelve red dragons from north fly
They all life they see want kill
Doing their dark masters will
Now they charge the village frail
All defense against them fail.
The people will die in pain,
Burned houses all what remain!
On the sky a silver star
Flying fast from realms afar
Mighty dragon of blue ice
Twelve red dragons on him rise
Interrupted from their prey
The humans they’ll later slay
Fire and ice the sky will light
As the dragons clash in fight

Twelve dark shapes on the burned ground
No more fire to be found
All the villagers were saved
By evil they weren’t enslaved
A blue dragon in the skies
To far away realm he flies
Waving, the girl to him calls
To return when first snow falls

Humankinds Fall
Dreamslain
Humankinds Fall
The flames of war are burning bright
As the whole world is set to fight
One by one the cities fall
Until war engulfs us all
It’s the beginning of the end
Everyone claims just to defend
While no one longer can live free
And there is nowhere left to flee
There is no more chance to win
Poisonous gas they all breathe in
Nuclear bombs fall from the sky
Final solution: all must die
There is no more hope for mankind
No safe place on earth you can find
A handful turns their sight on space
Final refuge for dying race
Here it stands: Leviathan
Made of steel before our fall
Spacecraft made by cunning hand
Still it can not carry all
One by one they beg to take
The children that they gave birth
So at least someone will make
It out from the dying earth
One by one.
Laid to sleep inside this flying tomb
Side by side
Stacked so more can escape their doom
Frozen down
To survive the journey through space
Final hope
To survive for the human race
See
Humankinds fall
In sorrows hall
Cursed our names shall be
Dies
Our Mother Earth
No chance of rebirth
This is hopes final demise
Solo Daniel Paulsen Figenschou
Orphaned where can they now flee
In universe cold and dark?
Where to sail this astral sea?
Where to guide of hope last spark?
There is no where they can run
Captain now can clearly see
There’s no planet of no sun
To where humankind can flee
They return
Back to Earth nowhere else for them to go
Poisoned soil
All is dead nothing here will ever grow
One by one
Planting seeds under protective dome
One by one
Survivors come, seeking a new home
Solo Anna Loppacher
And so life starts again on earth
The wheel of life brings the rebirth
As plants and animals out spread
Replace the ruins of the dead
Trees reach again up to the sky
A new chance for mankind to try
Repeat the errors, again fall
Or live in harmony with all

“Chock full of ideas it is a superlative end to possibly one of the most unique albums of the year. And there are no interludes or any wasted air. It is the sort of thing that requires you to put a bit of work in first but give it a try. It is quality. Quirky, unique quality. 9/10 - Musipedia of Metal”
