The Dragon Of Ice Every winter she would go In the forest, through the snow Where no one had ever been To see sights no one had seen Waterfalls frozen to glass Beyond them dwarfs would amass Diamonds and shining gold That told all fairytales old And the trees covered with snow A path to a land would show Filled with elven dance and song Made her feel like she belonged On an island she would go Over a white bridge of snow There a dragon of blue light Would tell her tales of lands bright One time she had stayed to long Listening to an ancient song All the village looked for her On the island they found her Weapons they all drew in fear Of the dragon they saw there Creature of a distant realm Force that them could overwhelm Only the girl not afraid Only words by her was said Holding back the peoples fear Faerie realm now disappear A sad gaze, nothing was said The great wyrm his wings wide spread All the villages’ people can Now live safe from fairyland Twelve dark shapes on the grey sky Twelve red dragons from north fly They all life they see want kill Doing their dark masters will Now they charge the village frail All defense against them fail. The people will die in pain, Burned houses all what remain! On the sky a silver star Flying fast from realms afar Mighty dragon of blue ice Twelve red dragons on him rise Interrupted from their prey The humans they’ll later slay Fire and ice the sky will light As the dragons clash in fight Solo: Anna Loppacher, Daniel Paulsen Figenschou, Anna Loppacher, Daniel Paulsen Figenschou, Anna Loppacher Twelve dark shapes on the burned ground No more fire to be found All the villagers were saved By evil they weren’t enslaved A blue dragon in the skies To far away realm he flies Waving, the girl to him calls To return when first snow falls

“Chock full of ideas it is a superlative end to possibly one of the most unique albums of the year. And there are no interludes or any wasted air. It is the sort of thing that requires you to put a bit of work in first but give it a try. It is quality. Quirky, unique quality. 9/10 - Musipedia of Metal”
