Everson Poe
how many times can you drink of that poison before your soul will die? how many times have you chosen to suffer and i have remained at your side? how can we ever repair this division when i never wanted to part? how could you choose to betray my devotion? a mark of your withering heart accept the pain that you have wrought your violent design no demon has possessed your form the shell in which you hide addiction guides your weary hand to plunge into the sea but resurrection never comes without divine decree bitter and brief, the embrace of a traitor i was a fool to believe you my savior somehow i know you are never coming back o, dear sister i shall mourn you o, dear sister please come back

VINYL PREORDERS FROM FIADH PRODUCTIONS COMING SOON!

mae shults returns after her longest gap in years with "enough is a myth", the 17th proper everson poe LP, releasing on september 21st, the 16th anniversary of her first album

inspired by david bruckner's 2022 version of "hellraiser", this collection of songs represents the culmination of everything that mae has done since she began recording music 25 years ago

working with a new collaborator in vocalist thia mathes, the songs take on an ethereal quality that transcends the heavy instrumentals to create a balance which has always been the goal of working under the everson poe banner

from the simple and sparse "lament" through the darkwave longing of "laudarant", and on to the crushing heaviness of "leviathan", "enough is a myth" is both a classic everson poe album, and also something entirely new
