Alarm Clock

Everything I can see should be laid in front of me as it’s all mine. From the land to the sea. The flowers and the bees. Yeah they’re all mine. So you say, as you lay claim to all the things that could never be yours. I can see the rising seas. They’re coming after me, but it’s alright. From the heights I have climbed I will make it through the night. Yeah I’m alright. So you say, but you’re not the ones who undeservedly will suffer this one. So what do you own? What can you claim of this dirt that when you’re gone will still know your name? It won’t remember your name.
